Grade 4 SCP 7-11

Working across 2 school sites in Stafford – Hours 8am to 4.30pm - whole year

St Bartholomew’s C.E. Multi Academy Trust are actively looking for an efficient, well organised and flexible Caretaker to work 3 days a week split between Haughton St Giles C.E. Primary Academy and Woodseaves C.E. Primary Academy, both of which are situated approximately 15 minutes from one another.
You will be responsible for carrying out routine building and ground maintenance work and statutory compliance checks in accordance with health and safety regulations.
The ideal applicant will:
- Have experience of working in a similar role;
- have some knowledge of health & safety legislation;
- possess excellent DIY skills and be able to carry out minor repairs to the building and grounds;
- have experience of carrying out statutory compliance checks such as fire and intruder alarm testing, emergency light testing, call points, legionella flushing, asbestos visual awareness checks; and
- demonstrate excellent communication skills.
During school closure periods, there will be an opportunity to work additional hours at both schools.
