16 hours per week: £10,043 to £11,706 (Scale point 7-17 plus SEN allowance)
17 hours per week: £10,671 to £12,438 (Scale point 7-17 plus SEN allowance)

The Role
We are a highly regarded, friendly team supporting learners with a sensory impairment in mainstream settings across the county. This is an opportunity to join us as a Specialist Teaching Assistant working with a deaf child or young person in their educational setting at various locations across Worcestershire. You will be working with Qualified Teachers of the Deaf/ Multisensory Impairment, an Educational Audiologist, and Specialist Practitioners as well as school-based staff.

We are seeking to appoint 4 committed, experienced and highly motivated Specialist Teaching Assistants with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support a range of students at different key stages, in a variety of settings including those with complex needs. Confidence to advocate for the needs of deaf pupils and the ability to travel across the county is essential. You will have experience of working with children/ young people, deafness, meeting targeted outcomes and a BSL level 2 qualification or be undertaking this currently. All necessary training will be provided and you will have access to a range of CPD and support within the team.
