Job Details

Here at Solihull, we have made changes to our Commissioning Team, expanding our capacity, increasing knowledge and expertise and raising the profile of the impact of drug and alcohol abuse across the borough. Our aim is to reduce inequalities and harm, promote prevention opportunities and improve health and well-being for our residents through exceptional treatment and recovery services.

We are hiring a Public Health Commissioner who will drive and support local delivery of the government’s ‘From Harm to Hope Drugs (and Alcohol) Plan to cut crime and save lives working with a range of partners and professionals through our local Combatting Drugs (and Alcohol) Partnership.

You will need to have a good understanding of the drugs and alcohol agenda and be experienced in delivering and leading commissioning models or services to ensure we have high quality, cost effective and accessible drug and alcohol services within Solihull.
