We’re looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our newly transformed district teams. We have a hybrid approach to work to assist your work life balance, with a mixture of office and remote working.
You will be based in South Staffordshire.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will;
- be supporting the Family Practitioner Leads to carry out the Local Authority’s SEND duties in relation to co-ordinating Education Health &Care (EHC) assessments
- producing EHC Plans and carrying out annual reviews
- work closely with our children and young people with special educational needs and disability and their families as well as a range of qualified professionals in education, health and social care.
- develop collaborative and respectful relationships, promoting choice and independence and improve outcomes
- ensure that education, health, and care plans comply with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements in addition to the policies, standards and procedures.
It’s a fast-paced role so you’ll need to be able to manage your own caseload independently and as part of the team.
You will also:
- Need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have knowledge of the SEND legislation plus, it’s important that you can reflect on practice and improve as a result.
