Teaching Assistant Additional Needs - 15 hours per week (term-time only) Grade 4 – Actual Salary £8,592

We are delighted to advertise an excellent opportunity to join our highly successful school (as confirmed by Ofsted in March 2022) in the picturesque market town of Stone, one of our 13 rural primary schools located in the stunning countryside of Staffordshire.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our warm, friendly and hardworking team.
We are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant (additional needs)
- Support an individual child sometimes within small groups, making the adjustments on a day to day basis to ensure access to a differentiated and highly personalised curriculum
- Be proactive and flexible in supporting the child’s needs
- Working closely with the SENCO to deliver a personalised programme of support to meet targets
- To support and maintain positive links between home and school by making parents feel welcome
- To work collaboratively with several external agencies to draw upon skills, knowledge and recommendations to help support the child
- To support the child’s personal care and needs, including communication by following the Education Health Care Plan, and undergoing any relevant training
- The successful applicant will be required to work to meet the requirements set out in the pupils Education Health Care Plan.
Whilst these hours are protected with the EHCP, should the child leave at any time the position may cease which will terminate the post
