Binley Woods Primary School is a friendly, nurturing and welcoming school set in beautiful grounds, situated on the edge of Rugby and close to Coventry. We had an Ofsted inspection in May 2023 and the school was judged to be ‘good’ – behaviour was picked out as a strength of the school. We are committed to ensuring we ‘grow every child’ both academically and personally. We work closely with all in our community, governors and families to give the children in our care a wonderful school experience where each child can fulfil their potential. We offer fantastic children, a supportive, ambitious senior leadership team and a highly collaborative staff body.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team, working with our Year 6 class one day per week.

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching in upper key stage 2 and will be able to deliver engaging, rich lessons building children’s knowledge and skills. They will be a strong team player who can work well with the main class teachers across the phase to ensure the children’s learning across the week is coherent. We are looking for a candidate who makes strong relationships with children and families and who is motivated to support children with SEND alongside other key adults. The successful candidate will be well supported by an experienced main class teacher who they will work closely with.

The role can be offered from January.

• Qualified teacher status
• Good or outstanding practice with high expectations for achievement and behaviour for ALL children, including those with SEND
• A nurturing approach which values relationships

• Dedication and a willingness to contribute to the whole school ethos
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills allowing you to be a wonderful team member
