St Mark’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a temporary Office Administrator to cover maternity leave – Starting January 2018 (1 year fixed term contract)

St Mark’s is a supportive and friendly school.  We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, competent and flexible person to join our busy office team in order to cover a maternity leave – starting January 2018.

The post would suit someone with experience of working in administration who has excellent IT skills – including the use of excel, word and SIMS, a flexible approach and the ability to work with a minimum level of supervision using their own initiative.

Applicants should have;

  • Excellent communication skills, a good telephone manner and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills - including using excel, word and SIMS.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • An outgoing personality, capable of thinking quickly and the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.

Experience of working in a school environment is desirable, though not essential.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
