Teaching Assistant + SEN Allowance
Job Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Length (end date): 31st August 2025
Salary: TA Grade 2 (plus SEN allowance), £16,725.97 - £16,991.12 per annum + £1,005.99 SEN Allowance
28 hours and 25 mins per week (8:50-3:15 Monday – Friday, . Including a 45 min unpaid lunch break each day).
The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a special needs focus to work as part of our SEN team within school.
You will be expected to:
- Support our pupils with their SEN and actively engage in the delivery of academic work with specific direction from the class teacher and SENDCo
- Support children’s needs during break and lunchtimes
- Have high expectations and provide positive behaviour management
- Have a sense of fun and work well as part of a team
- Have the ability to be flexible in approach and adapt as required
It would be desirable to have:
- Experience of working with children who have Special Educational Needs and/or a disability (SEND)
