School Administrator
Location: Old Hall School, Bentley Lane, Walsall, WS2 7LU.
Old Hall School - The Nest, Moxley Road, Darlaston, WS10 8SY
Accountable to: Headteacher, Deputy Head and School Business Manager
Contract: Permanent – Full time and part time considered. Working day 8am-4pm
Salary: G4, points 6-11 (£20,550.74 - £22,344.94 for full time 37 hours a week)
Role: School Administrator
Start Date: January 2025
- Can create a good first impression, showing the school in its best light
- Understand our special setting; and why good organisation is important to us
- Have a sound and broad understanding of school administration
- Good working knowledge of information management packages such as Arbor
- Possess the aptitude to learn and operate new systems covering finance, HR and Health and Safety
- Are an excellent communicator, with parents, agencies and staff
- Are trustworthy, self-motivated and have a strong sense of responsibility
- Are willing or have already undertaken all relevant training for the role.

Due to continued growth of the school, we wish to appoint a school administrator who can work as part of our existing school administration team providing cover at both sites if necessary.
Old Hall School is a specialist setting in Walsall providing education to young people at EYFS, Key Stages 1 and 2, all of whom have a variety of SEND complexities. The post holder will be joining our vibrant team as we move forward with mission to provide excellence in nurturing, developing and shaping young lives.
Closing Date: Wednesday 27th November 2024 – 12 noon
