At Oakhill we pride ourselves on our relentless drive to improve standards, alongside our nurturing approach. All staff & pupils are committed to achieving our school vision – ‘We develop the whole child, so they leave Oakhill with the skills to continue to thrive and achieve academically and personally and make a positive contribution to the community…whatever their starting points.’ Is this a vision you could commit to and help us to achieve?
We wish to appoint a dedicated, hard-working Teaching Support Practitioner (TSP) to initially be based in our EYFS from January 2025. It is essential that the post holder will add to the positive ethos of Oakhill, for the benefit of our children & staff, by being willing to take part in the wider life of the school.
We are looking for a TSP who will:
At least initially be based in EYFS
Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of pupils' behaviour & achievements.
Be committed to continual improvement and have a drive to develop their own practice.
Enthusiastic & friendly children & staff who are passionate & hardworking.
A strong commitment to CPD & support.
Rich opportunities to develop expertise in supporting and teaching children.
Please contact Mr Smith – steve.smith@oakhill.orchardct.org.uk to request an application pack.
We are committed to safeguarding all pupils. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Identity checks will be carried out, references sought & qualifications verified before any offers of posts are made.
An online search will be undertaken on all shortlisted candidates. This search does not form part of the shortlisting process and you will have the opportunity to discuss any issues of concern that may arise from this search at the interview
