Role: Admin Assistant
Salary: Band B (SCP 4) £12.65 per hour
Hours: 8.30am-12.00pm Monday-Friday – 3.5hrs per day/17.5hrs per week
Contract: Permanent – Term time only plus five training days
Start Date : January 2025

We are looking for:
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who adheres to the ethos of our happy Church of England Academy, to provide support for the admin team in routine general clerical, administrative and financial areas.
The successful applicant will be someone who:
- recognises the place of confidentiality in the office environment
- can act under their own initiative when required
- Has a pleasant, patient demeanor as the first communication point with parents, contractors & visitors.
- Communicate in a professional manner, face to face, over the telephone & by email/text messages etc.
- Can work at speed, accurately, under pressure and keep smiling!
- Is educated to GCSE standard or NVQ or equivalent qualification, or suitable experience in a similar role
- Will be accountable for day to day clerical duties.
Including for example
- Update and control all registers including attendance & clubs.
- Administering school trips.
- Assisting with the production of school publications.
- Collating, printing and copying school reports.
- Maintaining and updating databases for attendance and other administrational areas required.
- First Aid process
- Overseeing all payments for clubs, trips, dinners etc.
- Any other duties requested
Be able to provide support in school financial management procedures.
