Are you a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking for an exciting challenge?
Horton Lodge School are recruiting now for teaching assistants to support our wonderful pupils to reach their highest potential. Horton Lodge is a primary age special school which caters for pupils with a range of complex special needs and disabilities. These include physical disabilities and cognition and learning needs. Many of our pupils have others needs including communication and interaction, sensory impairments and medical needs.
We are offering the opportunity to work in our innovative school in a beautiful setting with pupils who are happy and enthusiastic about learning. Positions available are fixed to July 2025 with the hope to extend:
Full time (32.5 hours, Monday to Friday 08:45-16:00) to start 20th January 2025 Part-time (25 hours, Monday to Friday 09:15-14:45) to start ASAP Want flexibility? Have experience of, or demonstrate a good understanding of, working with children with disabilities. Be able to relate well to children and adults. Have high expectations for all pupils. Work well on own initiative and as part of a wider team. Contribute to wider school life. Our staff team are central to everything we do and so we’ll make sure you’re well supported. This is a school community where working together is at the heart of our mission.
