Make a Difference. Foster for Warwickshire.

Could you use the skills gained in a previous career working with young people to change direction and become a solo placement foster carer?

Warwickshire Fostering Services Solo placement scheme has been running for over 18 months and we are keen to add more Foster Carers to this team.

The Solo Placement Scheme provides placements for young people who have been in residential care but are now ready to move on and return to live with in a family setting.   There are also some young people who we want to prevent going into residential care. The scheme recognises that these young people need to be the only young people in placement and therefore a higher fee is paid to recognise this.

We are looking to recruit foster carers to be part of the Solo Placement Scheme.   We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience of working with young people e.g. youth workers, teachers, social workers, care workers.

Additional Information & How to Apply
