Research and Data Assistant
CSW Superfast Broadband is a small Team within Warwickshire County Council, working with the Private Sector to roll-out Superfast connectivity across the sub-region. The Government’s target is for the UK to have the best superfast broadband in Europe. Delivering better broadband - superfast broadband wherever possible - is vital to delivering Warwickshire’s strategic priorities. It is vital to economic growth, to supporting an engaged and connected community across the whole sub-region, and to enable the public sector to bring a new approach to the way it works with residents and businesses. Through the Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) programme, Warwickshire has £30m to deliver Superfast Broadband across the sub-region.

Data gathering and analysis is critical to the success of the programme, as is the ability to display the information through mapping and graphical representation You will be providing an important role within the team, assisting the Contract Assurance Manager in developing the database structure and analytical data to support the Project’s data assurance process.
We are looking for professional and enthusiastic person to provide an excellent service within tight business deadlines, who has worked in a data research environment analysing information from a variety of sources in order to draw inferences and make recommendations. You will need to be experienced in the use of MS SQL, to at least an intermediate level, and also have extensive experience of Microsoft Windows. In particular, you will need to have a good working knowledge of Excel 2016 and be able to manipulate databases and spreadsheets to track and interpret deployment data to support contractual and financial assurance.
