Job Details
Are you passionate about improving SEMH and behaviour in schools? Then we'd love to hear from you.
Your experience
We're looking for a qualified teacher to join our small (but mighty!) team to deliver face-to-face support to schools, predominantly in primary schools in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Formal experience (or qualifications) in SEMH aren't a necessity, because full training will be given to the successful applicant...
...but you will need to have a deep interest in SEMH, be an excellent teacher, be driven to improve behaviour and SEMH in schools - and have excellent communication and social skills.
If that sounds like you, then this is your chance to have a widen impact in school settings across the Midlands!
Key duties for the role include:
- Carrying out observations, advice, and writing feedback reports for individual children around their specific needs
- Supporting teachers with whole class management through observation and feedback
- Providing training and advice to schools around all aspects of SEMH and behaviour (and areas linked to these, such as parenting, special needs, behaviour policy and whole-school strategy)
- Completing formal reports and assessments, and attending multi-agency meetings, including to support children with statutory assessment
- Promptly answering customers’ enquires and requests for support (over the telephone, through email, face-to-face)
You'll benefit from:
- High-quality training and induction
- An varied and interesting workload
- The opportunity to learn about SEMH from a wide variety of schools and settings
- Having a key role in a small, friendly team
