Are you an ambitious Head Teacher, Acting Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher with the vision and skills, determination and resilience to provide an excellent education for our children?
Could you motivate and inspire a staff team to deliver an engaging curriculum that enables all children to reach their full potential in our inclusive school? Are you a leader who will develop staff, including the Leadership Team, and help them to realise their own ambitions?
The Governors of Christ Church CE Primary School in Oldbury are looking for an inspirational Headteacher who will:
- provide outstanding leadership to our staff and pupils, following the Christian ethos of the school;
- add value to our school and provide children with the best possible start on their academic journey;
- be committed to continuing to serve our local community.
Christ Church is a two-form entry Local Authority school in Sandwell, and as a Church of England school is guided by the Birmingham Diocesan Board of Education. We are closely connected with the parish of Christ Church whose congregation meets in our school buildings. Our faith and ethos permeate through everything we do in our school and community, seeking to promote Christian values and morals whilst being sensitive to the range of faiths and cultures present within our school and community.
We are very proud of the caring, happy and inclusive character of our school, where each person is valued simply for who they are and the gifts they have. Our SHINE values are central: pupils and stakeholders are empowered to be Successful, Happy, Included, Nurtured and Enriched.
Further information relating to our school can be found on our website Christ Church C of E Primary School - Home
We strongly encourage all prospective candidates to visit the school. Please contact j.griffiths@christchurchsandwell.org to arrange visit and Fr Barrie Scott, Deputy Diocesan Director of Education on BarrieS@cofebirmingham.com T: 07341 733557 if you would like an informal discussion about the role.
