Opportunity for a School Administrator
Hourly Rate £12.10 per hour @ 19.5 hours per week, term time only, Wednesday – Friday fixed until 31st August 2026 in the first instance.
Start Date: Monday 24th February 2025 at the earliest, depending on availability

Due to the retirement of our current Administrator, the Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a dedicated, professional and committed School Administrator to join our friendly team as the welcoming face of the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks under the direction of the Headteacher and School Business Manager, with a job share partner.
This post will initially be fixed term for 19.5 hours per week, over 3 days (Wednesday-Friday), term time only, with the opportunity for additional hours on an adhoc basis.
Barrow 1618 C of E Free School needs a School Administrator who:
• Has at least 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths
• Has experience of working in an office environment
• Can demonstrate sound IT skills
• Is able to work independently and prioritise tasks
• Is able to use their own initiative, be flexible and reliable
• Can work effectively as part of a team. Be energetic, positive, committed and determined to support our children, their families, staff and visitors
