The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting teachers to deliver tailored learning programmes, ensuring each pupil achieves their full potential. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and enriching learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Learning: Collaborate with teachers in planning and implementing lessons, ensuring EHCP outcomes are met.
- Leadership: Supervise whole-class activities in the absence of the teacher, using pre-prepared materials.
- Personalised Support: Assist with personal care and therapy programmes, including moving and handling and communication aids.
- Pupil Development: Promote pupil independence, self-reliance, and positive behaviour.
- Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child welfare.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is compassionate, organised, and eager to make a difference in the lives of young people.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a related area.
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs in a learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of SEN support strategies, including behavioural management.
Desirable Attributes:
- First Aid training.
- Additional SEN-related qualifications.
