In addition to fulfilling the Person Specification, the successful candidate will:

 

• Be responsible for the programmes of activities ensuring they are interesting, valuable, and age-appropriate to the children using the facilities.
• Be responsible for the safety and well-being of setting users through checking risk assessments are updated and relevant, supporting and where necessary, undertaking first line child protection measures.
• Be responsible for ensuring parents, carers and other visitors are made to feel welcome when visiting the settings and that they receive appropriate information and timely advice.
• Be responsible for the overall compliance of required documentation, for example the registration of children, Ofsted requirements and Safeguarding procedures.
• Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, for example managing the financial software ensuring that places are booked, and parents / carers charged accurately. Training will be given to ensure you are fully compliant.
• Be responsible for overseeing the collection, recording and reconciliation of payments. Training will be given to ensure you are fully aware of the systems in place.
