Personal Welfare Support Assistants
Monday – Friday, Term-time
32.5 hours per week
Temporary Positions x 6 (funding dependent)

Due to an increase in the number of EHCPs issued, the Local Academy Council of Littleton Green Community School is offering the opportunities for patient, qualified, caring and skilled practitioners to work one-to-one with children with SEND needs in our school. Experience of working with children who have special needs is preferred:


Position 1-Year R Fixed Term to July 2031
Positions 2, 3 & 4- Year 1 Fixed Term to July 2030 (EAL experience ideal)
Position 5-Year 3 Fixed Term to July 2028
Position 6-Year 5 Fixed Term to July 2026


We are a very hardworking and committed team of professionals who work together to provide a welcoming, safe and “outstanding” academy and nursery.


We are looking for:
• An outstanding Learning Support Assistant, with at least one year’s experience in school, a high level of training, knowledge and experience of supporting a child who has identified Special Educational Needs.
• A professional who is able to communicate with parents, class teacher and SENCo on a daily basis.
• Someone who is able to follow instruction from other professionals.
• Organisation and good recording are needed daily, to track intervention.
• A proactive approach to work, begin able to change and adapt where needed.
