POST DETAILS

 

Inclusion and Pastoral Officer, SCP 15 / Grade 7 (FTE £29,093 and actual PRO RATA salary £26,215.18), part time – 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm, start date Monday 31st March 2025, permanent, term time 39 plus 4 weeks. 

 

We will need the appointee to be flexible during the school holidays for important meetings, responses to work related emails.  This will be discussed during the shortlisting and interview process.

FURTHER DETAILS REGARDING THE POST -

 

In addition to fulfilling the Person Specification, the successful candidate will:

 

Administer and co-ordinate a referral system for students identified for Pastoral Support. Develop 1:1 and group activities for students on identified issues, such as anger management, raising self-esteem and emotional literacy as appropriate. Develop preventative strategies related to personal problems, behavioural issues, stress, decision-making, anxiety and relationship issues. Develop and maintain positive relationships with students needing support. To maintain regular contact with families/carers of children in need of extra support, to keep them informed of the child's needs and progress, and to secure positive family support and involvement. Attend regular meetings with appropriate senior staff. have high aspirations for every child in our school, and strive to ensure that every second of their journey is magical, memorable and of the highest possible standard be committed to their own professional learning be able to contribute and support the school's relentless drive to enable limitless possibilities for every child be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
