Job Details
A part time, fixed term position is available from February 2025 to March 2026 within the Community Engagement team for Worcester City Council. We are looking for someone who has experience of promoting services, supporting and delivering events, running campaigns and encouraging participation working within the community and in partnership with local organisations.
Working 3 days a week, you will support third party organisations and groups to run events and activities on Worcester City Council land, ensuring events are planned and run with appropriate safety measures in place. You will help to deliver the Worcester Show event on Pitchcroft in August, planning activities, supporting volunteering and public participation.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hard working and able to work unsupervised and within a team. You will be able to link with partner organisations and communicate with all members of staff across the Council. We would prefer candidates with knowledge / experience of Asset Based Approaches and Community Services.
