Grade 4 (SCP 9 – 14)£26,409 - £28,624 (pro-rata if part time)

£13.69 - £14.84 per hour 

16 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the High Street Markets team at Redditch Borough Council. A Senior Market Operative is required to oversee and manage the setting up and dismantling of a busy Town Centre outdoor market. 

Experience in a supervisory role is essential together with knowledge of market operations.  The candidate needs to be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks. The candidate will be expected to supervise a small team and be responsible for ensuring the market traders adhere to terms and conditions of booking. It is essential for the candidate to have a Category C1E Driving License for driving medium sized vehicles and towing a trailer.
