Job Details
Bright Lights Day Care Nursery is an established Day Care Nursery for children aged 2-5 years old.
The Governors of Galton Valley Primary School and Bright Lights Day Care would like to recruit a permanent Nursery Assistant to join our friendly team.
The position offered is an exciting opportunity for a motived individual holding a Level 3 qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. You will be working with children aged 2-4 years old. You will be required to demonstrate knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and an understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
Experience of working with children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities would be advantageous. Please refer to the person specification and job description for further details.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role
