SEND Support Assistant, Early Years
Contract end date: 31/08/2025
Salary: Scale TA 1 Point 2 + SNA, £10,745.00 per annum
Hours: 18 hours (8:30am – 3:00pm) over 3 days
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, inspirational and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within our Early Years Department supporting a Pre-School Nursery age child, on a 1:1 basis.
The ideal candidate should be qualified in one of the following qualifications or equivalent:
The ideal candidate should be a minimum of level 2 qualified in early years or Teaching and Learning in schools and must have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent). Experience of working within a Nursery or Pre-School is essential.
Experience of working with a child with additional needs is preferred, although not essential as training will be provided.
The candidate will need to have a patient, caring attitude and have good numeracy and literacy skills. Candidates must have GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent). They should be flexible and able work in all areas of the curriculum.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our school provides the very best education for every pupil. They will implement agreed work programs with individuals or groups of children and support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils.
