School Business Manager - Grove Vale

Governors at Grove Vale Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed School Business Manager to manage the strategy and operation of the business functions of our school, including:

• Finance
• Governance
• Health and safety
• Premises management
• HR and Personnel
• GDPR
• Compliance
• Administration
• Sustainability

You will advise and implement the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate efficiently and effectively, allowing members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.

You will be working with a dedicated staff team and management that have great ambition for our school community. We provide a caring and stimulating learning environment, enabling all our pupils.

Key requirements:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a calm, positive demeanour
• Is highly motivated, professional, diligent, well organised, methodical and has integrity.
• Has strong IT skills
• Is friendly, approachable and honest.
• Is able to effectively line manage the administrative team
• Has proven outstanding finance and business management experience
• Has a diploma in business management, degree or equivalent qualification or a desire to work towards a relevant qualification

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks & 5 training days 
Salary: Band G SCP 32-37 (£41,511 - £46,731 per annum) - Pro Rata
