Post: SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

We will consider Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistants for this post

This is a temporary posts for the duration of funding provision for 32.5 hours per week

32.5 hours per week, plus 5 training days

G4, 6 – 11, 6 = £19,025.93 to 11 = £20,601.92

Class based teaching support

The candidate should be confident and experienced with:

• Planning and adapting activities provided by the class teacher for children’s individual needs.
• Working on a 1:1 basis to support children or a child with additional needs.
• Understanding various types of additional needs such as autism and speech and language barriers.
• Providing intimate care and lunchtime support if required.
• Working alongside the class teacher to provide an inclusive environment where all children can access the curriculum and make personal progress.
