Finance Manager

37 hours per week, all year round,  temporary

£33,366 - £40,476 FTE, per annum

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP) is a highly respected Multi-Academy Trust committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities. We are currently seeking an Interim Finance Manager to join our team, ensuring the financial operations of designated schools are effective and compliant with Trust policies and statutory requirements.
This interim role, covering a period of sickness, will be the primary point of contact for Head Teachers and the senior Finance team. The successful candidate will manage financial monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure compliance with the ATLP Finance Policy and the Academy Trust Handbook.

Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare monthly management accounts and budget/forecast monitoring reports. Lead month and year-end financial procedures, including purchase order reconciliation, prepayments, and accruals. Facilitate monthly meetings with Head Teachers, HR, and relevant stakeholders on budget management and forecasting. Develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor and stay informed about developments in education affecting the Trust.

What we are looking for

    NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, GCSE Maths and English (grades 9-4/A*-C). Experience delivering financial reports within a Multi-Academy Trust environment. Proficiency in accruals, prepayments, and financial reporting. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. Experience with financial systems (e.g., Sage 200, Sage Intacct).
