We are looking for a conscientious and approachable individual, with experience of dealing with the public to join our Parking Services Team. You’ll be required to undertake Civil Parking Enforcement on behalf of the local authority. There will be a requirement to take on other duties as required and provide support to the surrounding areas.

Civil Enforcement Officer - £17,772 - £20,138

To provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement, in order to minimise illegal parking acts through the issue of penalty charge notices in appropriate cases. To carry out patrols of on-street and off-street parking, either individually or as part of a team in the Malvern Hills District.

The role is full time, 37 hours per week and you will be required to work flexibly on a rota basis covering a variety of shifts which may include weekend and evening work.

Willingness and the ability to work outside normal hours and be available for work at weekends, Bank Holidays early mornings and late evenings as requested. You will be a car driver and owner with the ability to travel around the district to undertake duties.

You will be willing to work outdoor in all weathers. Knowledge of the parking industry would be desirable but not essential. We are looking for an individual with a flexible approach to work and someone who is happy to undertake other duties as may be reasonably required.

Ability to relate to the public, to deal with confrontation and have attention to detail. Experience of working within a customer service environment. Good standard of education with numeracy and literacy skills, ability to use IT equipment and software.
