Job Details
This coordinator role will consist of assisting the Horticulture & Volunteer Supervisor in the running of the horticultural projects across the borough. An ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to independently run volunteering sessions, complete tasks set by the Horticulture & Volunteer Supervisor and help in the organisation of Burton’s entry into the RHS Britain in Bloom competition.
The role will also include working closely with students from Fountains School and volunteers with learning or physical disabilities, having experience or tolerance towards possible challenging behaviour is ideal.
A successful candidate must also be willing to enrol in educational courses to ensure personal development over time in the role and expect the job to be quite physically demanding in the busier periods of spring and summer.
