About Us & The Role
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a committed and highly motivated School Business Manager (SBM) at Middlemarch Junior School.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of, financial processes, HR & personnel, premises management, health and safety, GDPR and purchasing procedures.
We would consider applicants that do not have Business Manager experience in a school-based environment and/or do not currently have a relevant School Business Manager qualification, but would be committed to develop into the role and strive to complete the required qualifications for the role.
The hours required for the role are 26.50 hours per week, term time only plus 5 inset days. We believe that having the right work to life balance is important and are open to negotiating the working patterns to suit both the candidate and business needs.
The role attracts a salary at Band I (£20,116) to Band K (£25,046) depending on experience and continuous service with the Local Authority.
The appropriate band would be discussed at interview, based on experience and relevant qualifications with a view to taking on more responsibility and progressing through the stated pay scales through performance management targets to fully achieve key requirements.
