Train to Teach with Ryders Hayes School
(in Partnership with Barr Beacon SCITT)

We are pleased to announce that we are now partnering with Barr Beacon SCITT to provide Initial Teacher Training.

We offer primary training programmes in the age ranges 3-7 year olds (Programme Code D101) or 5-11year olds (Programme Code Y576).

Please be advised that these are fee-paying programmes, we do not offer a salaried role.

Requirements for Teacher Training

Qualifications:

We require the following qualifications for our course:

  • Degree: A UK degree (or equivalent), usually an Honours degree, normally a degree classification of at least a 2:2 is required.
  • At least a Grade C or Grade 4 at GCSE (or equivalent) in English (Literature or Language), Mathematics and  a Science is essential for all applicants.

We are pleased to be able to offer a number of drop-in sessions or please call to arrange a convenient time.

Dates:

  • Friday 7th February-anytime between 12pm-2pm
  • Monday 10th February anytime between 9am-11am
  • Thursday 6th March anytime between 12pm-2pm
  • Monday 10th March anytime between 8am-10am
  • Friday 21st March anytime between 9:30am-11:30am
  • Thursday 27th Monday 10th March anytime between 8am-10am
  • Monday 31st  March anytime between 3pm-5pm
