Thomas Jolyffe Primary School is a two-form entry school situated on the north side of Stratford-upon-Avon.  We are seeking a hardworking, reliable and committed individual to support us in ensuring our school premises and site are safe, well maintained and fit for purpose. The position is to start as soon as possible after February half term (wb 17 February 2025)

Hours of work will be 7.00am-11.00am + 1 hour every evening to lock up premises (times may vary dependent on lettings) this equates to 25 hours per week. Holiday allowance is to be taken during school holidays and not during term-time.

Pay scale will be Band D.

Key responsibilities include:
-    Opening and closing the premises.
-    Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance work.
-    Liaising with and managing contractors on site.
-    Ensuring the site is safe (including clearing and gritting paths) and free from litter.
-    Be responsible for operating systems such as heating, lighting and security (alarms).
-    Organise testing for health and safety procedures including asbestos and legionella testing.
