Job Details
Birmingham Children’s Trust continues to go from strength to strength. We are the largest provider of family support and social care services for children, young people and families in the country. Our goal is to become a centre of excellence in both social work and family support.
We have an exciting Care Leaver Apprenticeship Programme and a real opportunity for someone to get into the world of ICT. Working within the information, communication and technology team, we are looking for the right person who wants to develop skills to provide efficient, effective and consistent ICT Support services that meet the needs of the business.
About you!
- Do you have care experience and is a Birmingham Care Leaver?
- Are you a dependable and passionate apprentice?
- Can you operate and maintain high quality ICT and information support services, ensuring customer focus is at the heart of all interactions and that this is done in a consistent and responsive manner?
- We want you to interact sensitively, professionally and maintain confidentiality when dealing with colleagues and customers, providing excellent customer service within Birmingham Children’s Trust’s customer service standards, strategy and within appropriate regulatory requirements.
About the role
- You will be responsible for undertaking a range of information, communication, and technology tasks, including offering assistance to customers in the use of user software.
- Providing support and guidance via Trust ICT systems, support accurate file/data records and maintenance.
- Provide admin support to meetings producing and distributing outputs in a timely manner.
- You will need to understand the different needs and priorities of your customers and colleagues, and the best way to manage their expectations, recognising and knowing how to adapt your style to be highly effective.
- Your customer interactions may cover a wide range of situations and can include face-to-face, telephone, post, email, social media and more.
- You will need to undertake a Level 2 Customer service Apprenticeship and successfully complete level 2 qualifications in English and Maths if you don’t already have these.
