SEND Teaching Assistant
TA Grade 2 (candidates due to qualify welcome to apply)
Salary: £9714.72 - £17288.76 (no SNA) per annum (£24790 - £25183 pro rata per annum)
Hours: Either:
- Monday – Friday 8.45am – 12.30pm,
- Monday – Friday 12.30pm – 3.00pm or
- Monday – Friday 8.45am – 3.00pm (with half an hour for lunch)

- Flexibility to take on different roles and work across the age ranges
- Understanding of the four areas of Special Educational Needs
- Practical experience of addressing barriers to learning
- Practical experience of delivering a range of interventions
- Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals
Hagley Primary School is a happy exciting, forward-looking school, committed to raising standards. We have a team of Teaching Assistants who work in a variety of ways supporting the teaching and learning of pupils. The person appointed will be able to work as part of a team in a flexible role, work under their own initiative, have patience and understanding as well as a sense of humour. Candidates will be facilitating the learning of children in class with barriers to learning.
The successful candidate must be prepared to work across all the primary years as required.
