We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic class teacher to cover a maternity position from 1st September 2025 until 31st August 2026. At present, the position may be based in key stage one or two, but applicant's strengths will be taken into consideration during the interview process.

Milton Primary Academy is part of Windsor Academy Trust. We pride ourselves on our forward thinking approach to teaching and learning and would like to appoint someone who wishes to engage in high-quality professional development to further improve the quality of teaching in their classroom. Some of our KS2 classrooms are starting to use digital technology via iPads to support teaching and learning as we aim to prepare children for the future. Experience in using iPads as part of daily teaching would be desirable, but not essential.

As a two form entry primary school, the successful candidate will have a year group partner to work alongside, as well as further opportunities to work with colleagues across the family of schools in Windsor Academy Trust. We have a broad and comprehensive professional development offer, both in school and across the trust, which means staff at all levels continue to grow together towards providing consistency in approaches for the pupils.

The pupils at Milton are a delight. They love coming to school and thrive from the wide personal potential offer that we provide. All staff actively support school events, clubs and community events to ensure Milton Primary is at the heart of the community. Our pupils are respectful, happy learners who follow the school ASPIRE values daily and celebrate each other's successes.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Committed to high quality teaching and learning
  • Able to adapt and respond to individual pupils’ needs
  • Highly motivated and ambitious to thrive in the role
  • Open to learn and will embrace learning opportunities
  • Able to work as part of a team

We can offer you:

  • A fantastic professional development offer with world class teaching and learning experts
  • Free access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
  • A supportive and forward thinking leadership team
  • A school where pupils’ come first

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to begin their teaching journey, or experience a new setting in a supportive and community based school. Applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome.
