Scale: Teachers’ Mainscale 1-6 Salary (£30,000 - £41,333) 
Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent

Are you excited by the opportunity to be a member of staff in a new primary school where you can 
help shape the lives of children and staff? 

We are looking to recruit a Key Stage 1 teacher, initially to teach Year 2. 

The successful candidate will have the energy, enthusiasm and passion to work with children aged 6 to 7 years with an excellent knowledge of the Year 2 National Curriculum and end of Key Stage expectations. They will have the ability to recognise all children’s individual needs and support them to succeed, alongside a great team of staff. They will be observant and motivated to engage in reflective practice and a researching approach. 

We are looking for someone who: 

• Is passionate about enabling children to fulfil their potential socially and academically and is patient, thoughtful and empathetic 
• Has the enthusiasm and ambition to make our Year 2 learning experience outstanding for our children 
• Is able to work effectively in a team and to show commitment and dedication to the life of the school 

The successful candidate will have: 

• QTS, preferably with experience of working in Year 2 / Key Stage 1 
• A good knowledge/understanding of the Year 2 National Curriculum expectations 
• Experience of subject leadership – science desirable but not essential. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
