Permanent Clerical Assistant/First Aider
25 Hours Per Week / Term Time Only: Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8:30AM – 1:30PM
Salary Range: Grade 3 (SCP 4) £24,404 Pro Rata
Actual Salary £14,319 plus an annual First Aid Allowance of £316

The Post
We are looking to appoint a friendly and confident Clerical Assistant/First Aider to join our school office.
This is a busy, exciting, and challenging role where initiative and a flexible approach are essential. The successful candidate will be expected to handle a wide range of enquiries from visitors, parents, staff, and pupils efficiently, as well as administering first aid (training will be provided).
We are seeking a dedicated, hard-working individual who enjoys the challenges and rewards of working in a fast-paced school office environment.

• The successful candidate will:  be confident and able to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner 
• be welcoming to all visitors and telephone callers
•  be able to work effectively as part of a busy team but also demonstrate initiative  
• have excellent administration skills and the ability to prioritise and be flexible in their approach.
• be a qualified First Aider or be willing to undertake first aid training
•  be confident and skilled in using a range of IT and communication systems.
• A solid working knowledge of Arbor is advantageous, although training will be provided.

Previous experience of working in a school environment or busy office/reception would be desirable.
