Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing, interpreting, and presenting data to support decision-making, improve services, and drive evidence-based policy development, within Welfare Services.
Requirements:
- Have effective organisational skills to manage a varied workload to meet targets and deadlines Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Analytical and methodical with excellent attention to detail A good working knowledge of Welfare Benefits and Council Tax legislation
Duties
To assist with the completion and return of any local, statutory, financial, statistical, performance data, or other returns accurately and on time including housing benefit subsidy, NDR1 and NDR3 Gather, clean, and validate data from a range of sources including internal systems, external databases, and public datasets. Develop predictive models and forecasting tools within Welfare Services to inform long-term planning and resource allocation. This post has been identified as one requiring checks for possible criminal background. A basic disclosure check will be made through the Disclosure and Barring Service and this, or any other, offer of appointment is subject to a satisfactory clearance.
The Interviews, will be held at South Staffordshire Community Hub, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall WV8 1PX on 25th & 26th March. As part of the interview, you will be asked to present some data, that will be sent you in advance.T
