Our aim is to provide an excellent education for all the students at Stoke Park. As Associate Teachers the successful candidates will contribute by utilising their excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with teachers and students to overcome barriers to learning.
Core duties will include working with teachers to devise and implement action plans for individual and groups of students, adapting materials and resources to make them accessible, monitoring and evaluating progress, promoting good attendance and behaviour in school and supervising students in the absence of teachers.
Candidates will have experience of successfully working in a mainstream secondary school with students who having been identified as being disadvantaged, and will possess both a relevant level 3 qualification and GCSE’s grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent). The Associate Teacher SEND post requires experience of working with students with SEND.
