Outwoods Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a SENDCo/Special Needs Teacher to join our forward-thinking school. 

At Outwoods, we ensure excellent provision for all pupils with SEND in our mainstream school and are host to a Warwickshire Specialist Resource Provision.  This wonderful facility (Bluebells) supports children with communication and interaction difficulties. 

A National Award for SEN Co-ordinators is desirable or the willingness to undertake the NPQ for SENCOs qualification as soon as possible is required.

Can you: 
•    Demonstrate outstanding classroom practice, inspiring, motivating and supporting staff in provision for pupils with SEND?
•    Work with the Senior Leadership Team to develop SEND strategy?
•    Be an excellent role model, exemplifying a high standard of teaching and offering professional guidance to colleagues in the area of SEND?
•    Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff, parents and external agencies, promoting the school’s values consistently? 
•    Promote effective use of resources to support achievement of pupils with SEND?
•    Provide a safe, calm and well-ordered environment focussed on safeguarding pupils and promoting wellbeing?
