Woodfield Academy joined the Bordesley MAT from Easter 2022. We work closely with Trinity High School, Birchensale Middle School and Holyoaks First School in a very localised MAT focusing on the development of children in Redditch. Working together as part of the three-tier system we aspire to improve the educational offer for the local community.
Woodfield Academy is a popular 5-form entry middle school with pupils on roll aged 9-13 years. We are a happy, vibrant learning community, with high aspirations for the children in our care and the staff team that supports them.
The Governors and Headteacher are looking to appoint a passionate KS2 Teacher with French, to deliver high quality lessons while successfully nurturing and inspiring our children.
The essential attributes are:
- Common sense and a desire to see young people learn;
- QTS status or equivalent
- The ability to relate to young people;
- A commitment to professional development;
- The self-confidence to support students in a classroom environment on your own;
- Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities.
Benefits of joining the school:
- A free health care plan from Simply Health making sure you are always assured that your own physical and mental health is our priority.
- A senior leadership team who will provide support to allow you to be successful within your role
- Woodfield ‘wonders of the week’ where staff nominate each other for the great work they are doing
- Senior leaders openly encourage career progression and share the many professional development opportunities with staff.
- A staff team who are caring and always look out for each other. The staff room is a focal point of wellbeing where strong friendships and working relationships are established.
