About the role
Are you a finance professional looking for a strategic leadership role in a strong and well-regarded district council? This is a rare and exciting opportunity to step into a Deputy S151 role, providing vital financial leadership and contributing to the long-term sustainability of our council.
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Principal Finance Manager (Deputy S151 Officer) to work closely with the Head of Resources and S151 Officer. You will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, supporting corporate plan objectives, and make sure there is robust financial management.

About You
You will be a professionally qualified accountant (CCAB, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong track record in financial leadership, financial accounting, and strategic budget planning.
