Personal Advisors, Care Leavers Service
We are further expanding our service and are recruiting Personal Advisors who will be supporting our care experienced young people as they transition into adulthood. We are looking for applicants who share our passion for delivering the very best support to our care experienced young people in meet their aspirations and realising their full potential.
In this role you will:
Support young people to develop their independent living skills and to be successfully engaged in education, training and employment. Undertake regular visits and work collaboratively with young people and those supporting them within the framework of their pathway plan. Provide young person-focused support to ensure our care leavers achieve their ambitions and realise their highest potential. Work as part of a supportive team to provide a high quality service to all of our young people Our Care Leavers Service is one of the nation’s biggest and supports care experienced young adults in their transition from care to independence.
Our priority is to support and enable our care experienced young adults to realise their aspiration and ambition and have a sense of feeling cared for, cared about, and able to care for themselves. Championing their voice as corporate parents is central to all that we do and achieve with them.

Can you contextualise the needs of care leavers through a trauma informed / adverse childhood experiences lens?
