As a SEND keyworker, you will:

be supporting the Family Practitioner Leads to carry out the Local Authority’s SEND duties in relation to co-ordinating EHC Assessmentsproducing EHC Plans and carrying out annual reviewswork closely with our children and young people with special educational needs and disability and their families as well as a range of qualified professionals in education, health and social care.develop collaborative and respectful relationships, promoting choice and independence and improve outcomesensure that education, health, and care plans comply with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements in addition to the policies, standards and procedures of the authority.The Ideal Candidate
It’s a fast-paced role so you’ll:

 need to be able to manage your own caseload independently and as part of the team.  need excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as knowledge of the SEND legislation be able to reflect on practice and improve as a result. “We’re happy to talk flexible working”
