Lichfield District Council is looking an experienced Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join our Tenancy Sustainment Team in the Housing Options Service 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Delivering a comprehensive support package to vulnerable tenants and Rough Sleepers to enable them to establish and sustain a tenancy.
• To identify, develop and foster good working relationships with all agencies and organisations that are able to support clients sustain tenancies in Lichfield district.

 About you

Applicant needs to have knowledge and experience of:

• Housing issues affecting local government and the social and private rented housing market 
• Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of dealing with vulnerable applicants with complex needs
• An excellent working knowledge of the welfare benefits system
• Be able to work when required, early mornings, evenings and the occasional weekend
