Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) - Hayes Meadow Primary School

Required for September 2025 – Temporary to cover a Maternity Leave – Early Years.

Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational class teacher to join our Hayes Meadow team.  Applicants should have a proven record as an excellent classroom practitioner having high expectations of themselves and their pupils.

• An enthusiastic, inspirational practitioner with a commitment to raising and maintaining standards of teaching and learning.
• Has a current knowledge of the curriculum and relevant, up to date, understanding of current educational research.
• Be able to use assessment effectively to inform planning and accurately track pupil progress.
• A positive person who enjoys creating memorable experiences for pupils.
• Understanding of EYFS practice and evidence of effective teaching in the Early Years
• Has an effective and positive approach to behaviour management.
• Passionate about teaching and learning ensuring every child is reaching what they are capable of. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working as part of a team and be a good role model for our children.
• Committed to working with parents, governors and the local community.
