Teacher of Food and Nutrition
Fulltime - Permanent
Salary: Teachers Main scale 1 to Upper scale 3
Required from September 2025
The governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, skilled teacher of Food & Nutrition with a genuine passion for the subject. You will be working within a highly successful Design & Technology department with a strong tradition of success in GCSE examinations.
The department is housed in purpose-built accommodation that comprises of a suite of specialist rooms. There is a specialist Food & Nutrition kitchen that is to undergo a major redevelopment during the summer to expand and modernise the facility. The department has a team of highly successful and experienced teachers who are dedicated to providing the highest quality learning experiences for our pupils.
The successful candidate will be working alongside a highly experienced Food & Nutrition teacher and will teach both Key Stage 3 & 4 Food & Nutrition. The ability to work as part of a team is therefore essential. An ability to offer textiles at KS3 would be desirable
