Learning Support Assistant
Salary: TA2 (pts 5-6), £17,655.84 - £17,935.75 per annum (actual)
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only + 5 days
Monday - Friday 08:45am - 3:15pm (30 minute unpaid break)
Contract: permanent
Woodfield Academy is a popular 5-form entry middle school with over 500 pupils on roll, aged 9-13 years. We are a happy, vibrant learning community, with high aspirations for the children in our care and the staff team that supports them.
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (TA2) to join a forward thinking team, who are dedicated to supporting our children in reaching their potential. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally, develop teaching and wider professional skills and make a huge contribution to the ever-growing success and reputation of our academy. Candidates of all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
You will be responsible for enabling access to learning for all pupils at Woodfield Academy. To assist with the management of individual pupils, or a small group of pupils who have needs that are additional to and different from their peers. To work both in and outside of the classroom. To meet the specific needs of individual pupils, in line with their Education Health Care Plan
