As we continue to embrace the digital age, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Digital Champion to support both our teaching staff and students in the integration of ICT across the curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Your Role: As a Digital Champion, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our school's digital offering. This exciting, varied role combines two key elements:1.    IT Technician Support: You’ll provide day-to-day IT technical support, ensuring that our systems and devices are running smoothly. From troubleshooting hardware to ensuring all software is up-to-date, your expertise will be crucial in keeping everything ticking over.2.    ICT Curriculum Assistance: You’ll work closely with our teachers, assisting with the delivery of ICT lessons and supporting students with their digital learning. You’ll be instrumental in fostering a love of technology in the classroom, helping students to build their ICT skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.3.    Social Media Lead :As Digital Champion, you'll lead the school's social media presence, showcasing our ICT initiatives and celebrating student and staff achievements. This role offers the chance to connect and inform parents and the wider community while promoting Fordbridge’s vibrant, forward-thinking environment. Join us in sharing our success!Additional Responsibilities:•    Contributing to the ICT extra-curricular offer by supporting and running after-school tech clubs or coding workshops.•    Being part of the Personal Development Team to help identify and implement new ways to integrate digital skills across the school.•    Collaborating with staff to introduce innovative digital resources that engage students in learning and prepare them for the future.•    Supporting pupils across the school with staying safe online alongside the online safety team. Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking someone who is:•    Enthusiastic & Self-Motivated: A natural problem solver with a passion for technology and education.•    Knowledgeable in ICT: You’ll need a solid foundation in ICT, with at least a GCSE in Maths and English and a minimum of Level 2 in ICT (or equivalent).•    A Great Communicator: You’ll be working with both staff and students, so the ability to explain technical information clearly is essential.•    A Team Player: You’ll be working as part of a dedicated team, so collaboration and flexibility are key.Why Join Us?
